it's been a while because i've had too much going on! i've been very busy with my classes, getting ready for a musical outreach, and preparing for a trip to Nigeria.
School has been going on well...until I got my last paper back! I was truly hoping and praying for an A, but I ended up with a B. yeah, so you are thinking what's the big deal? well, the truth is that I needed that A for motivation. I had so many things demanding my attention and getting an A would have been like a pat on the back to keep me going with confidence. Well, I didn't get that pat, but I'm still grateful....it could have been worse i guess
The planning for the outreach is going on well. We met last night and I was truly encouraged by the number of people that showed up. There was some buff by the end on the outfits Toyosi found for the ladies. Some of my peeps were sulking about the price & style of the blouses, i told them to get a grip. Not bluntly like that, coz really i think I sucked up to them....they pay $20 and I take the rest of the bill. Like I told them I did for peace, their hardwork, and because they all mean something to me! they are really a special (???) bunch.
My trip to Nigeria? Goodness gracious! i need more $$$$ , you can never get enough gifts for folks. my brother in law is getting married and we are having a celebration bash for my darling parents.....I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone.....
more on the $$$$, i can't find my purse!!!!!!! help me Jesus!
