this hair business

I have always been comfortable with short hair but i've been flirting lately with Ghana weave and i must confess that it suits me, yeah I know because I know and also because a lot of people have complimented me. MCL also seems to light up when he sees me with the hairstyle..here is a man that has always told me that he's fine with whatever hairstyle I choose....hmmm makes you wonder. Between you and I, I must confess that it is priceless to see him with a twinkle.

So here I am dragged into a zone of deliberation that I've not visited in a long time - What hairstyle to do next? For one, the last braiding session was very painful because I made the mistake of taking out my invisible braids the night before. There's also the cost of these hairdos! they are expensive and take a lot of time too. On the other side, it's fun to play with long hair and get to have a different look with each do. Now I'm thinking of putting weave to cut out the pain and time but unfortunately that does not cut out the MONEY. Gosh, what have I got myself into? I should have just stayed with my lovely low cuts. So when people ask, "are you growing out your hair?" I usually wonder why they want to know but answer them, "I don't know what I'm doing with my hair" and honestly speaking, I DO NOT KNOW...I just know I'm having a hard time right now figuring out I do not know what to do with my hair next.

My hairdos haven't been the only drastic change in my life..but guess what? It has all been wonderful..looking good and living life to God's glory. More to come later. Talking about other drastic changes, it hard to imagine the amount of blogs out there that are dead. I pray I continue to weather the drought and find my way through..and i pray the same for you today.

Lesson Learned: You are my witnesses says the Lord, the people I have formed to show forth my praise
