Last night we were having our family devotion and all the twins said when it was their turn to pray was, "thank you for my mommy" Amen. It was touching, realizing that your innocent three year olds lift you up as their thanksgiving offering. With all that goes into being a mother to three boys under the age of 7, it was both rejuvenating and humbling. It was only a sentence but it said so much to so many things. It spoke to the essence of motherhood. It spoke to the responsibility of taking care of these precious one. It touched on the privilege and opportunity to be a custodian for the Almighty. It encouraged me to look to my Maker and Husband for strength to carry on day after day. It reduced me and magnified the Most High.
P to the square three, I am thankful for you too and the lessons you teach me each day.
Lesson Learned: My children will rise and called me blessed!
